Shots Fired at Former Chhatra Dal Leader

Miscreants opened fire on the vehicle of Amir Hossain, former Organizing Secretary of the Mahmudpur Union Chhatra Dal, in Araihazar, Narayanganj.

The incident took place on Sunday (February 1) at around 7:30 pm on the Araihazar Municipal Bypass Road.

According to Amir Hossain, he was driving his car home when assailants suddenly fired shots at him while he was crossing the bypass road. He narrowly escaped unharmed as the bullets did not hit him.

Araihazar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Alauddin said that preparations are underway to file a case against unidentified suspects in connection with the incident.
