JMI Specialised Hospital Limited, a subsidiary of JMI Group, leads the initiative.As part of its expansion, Apollo Clinic has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Daily Sun to provide corporate medical services for its employees and their dependents at discounted rates. Executive Director Tasvir Ul Islam, Apollo Clinic Executive Director Dr Tamjeed Alam, and Director (Medical Services) Brig Gen Shafiqul Islam, along with other officials, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
"The budget for this hospital has been passed. If we cannot implement it, the next government will do it, as the number of patients at RpMCH exceeds the number of beds available and many are compelled to sleep on the floor," she added.
He also shared practical insights from personal experience and international studies, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and preventive care.
The incident occurred inside the cardiac cath lab while the patient was undergoing coronary angiography. Before stenting could begin, he suddenly began vomiting large amounts of blood. His condition quickly deteriorated, prompting an immediate transfer to the CCU and a call for the endoscopy team.
