(Mohammad Ali Babu, Barishal Bureau Chief)- BNP Chairperson’s Adviser and BNP-nominated candidate for Barishal-1 (Gournadi–Agailjhara) constituency, Zahir Uddin Swapan, has said that if the country cannot be brought under discipline and order, chaos will prevail—and only the national leader Tarique Rahman can protect the country from such anarchy.
He stated that in the absence of Begum Khaleda Zia, the “Mother of the Nation,” there is no future for them without Tarique Rahman. Addressing citizens, he urged even those who have never voted for the “Sheaf of Paddy” symbol before to cast their votes for it in the upcoming election, ensuring that their votes are not wasted in any way.
He warned that if chaos spreads across the country, religious minorities will suffer the most. He further said that if the Sheaf of Paddy emerges victorious, a vengeance-free government will be established.

He added that if BNP comes to power, family cards and farmer cards will be introduced alongside initiatives to make marginalized and impoverished communities self-reliant. The BNP candidate also said that the party aims to form a women- and agriculture-friendly government, and to create employment opportunities for educated unemployed youths so they can become economically independent.
He further noted that those wishing to work abroad will be trained as skilled manpower before being sent overseas. Emphasizing the vision of future governance, he said the next government will not be one of revenge or tears, but rather a people-oriented, welfare-driven administration, led by the national leader Tarique Rahman.
