Latif Siddiqui’s brother stopped at Dhaka airport
Airport sources confirmed that Siddiqui, accompanied by his wife, was scheduled to fly to Bangkok on a flight at 10:00 am. When he arrived at immigration, officials interrogated him and later prevented him from travelling due to an existing restriction on his foreign trips.
SM Siddiqui, younger brother of former lawmaker Latif Siddiqui and Bangabir Kader Siddiqui, was barred from travelling abroad at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday morning.

Last week, former lawmaker Latif Siddiqui was detained at a roundtable meeting organised by a new platform named ‘71 Mancha’ at Dhaka Reporters Unity. He was later shown arrested under the Anti-Terrorism Act and sent to jail.
