Best Sub-Inspector Awarded to Saiful Islam

Saiful Islam has been honored as the Best Sub-Inspector of Gournadi Police Station in Barishal district in recognition of his significant contributions to solving complex cases and recovering illegal drugs. On behalf of Barishal District Police Superintendent Md. Sharif Uddin, the award was presented by Circle ASP (Gournadi–Agailjhara) Sharmin Sultana Rakhi and Officer-in-Charge Md. Tarikul Islam.

According to sources, based on overall performance for September 2025, SI Md. Saiful Islam of Gournadi Model Police Station was selected as the Best Sub-Inspector.

The Bangladesh Police Force continues to play a leading role in maintaining law and order across the country by bringing all types of criminals under the purview of law. Police regularly conduct extensive operations against militants, terrorists, organized criminals, armed offenders, drug traffickers, muggers, and robbers.

Expressing his feelings after receiving the award, Sub-Inspector Saiful Islam said, “I have been honored in recognition of my contributions to solving various cases and recovering illegal drugs by the Police Superintendent Md. Sharif Uddin Sir (represented by Circle ASP Sharmin Sultana Rakhi Ma’am) and Officer-in-Charge Md. Tarikul Islam Sir.”

He added that Police Superintendent Md. Sharif Uddin, Additional Police Superintendent (Gournadi–Agailjhara) Sharmin Sultana Rakhi, and Officer-in-Charge Md. Tarikul Islam provided important guidance and full cooperation in unraveling the mysteries of different cases, which helped him achieve this award.
